Get invisible to RFID scanning!

I don’t know about you, but many people, including myself are finding the current use (and where it seems it’s heading) of RFID slightly concerning. I’m going to show you how to reduce being scanned and stop being scanned involuntarily all together!

Nowadays we’re seeing more and more items having RFID chips inside them. That new passport you have with the thick plastic card in it? RFID. That new credit card with “Paywave” functionality? RFID. Even some phones capable of Google Wallet now have RFID.

These items all contain very personal information such as your passport details and credit card numbers, to top this off any joker wanting your personal information can spend a small amount of cash on a RFID reader and get that data without you even knowing!

Obviously I could lecture you on the basic tips which you already know about (don’t leave your wallet/passport/phone in a place out of your reach etc however you can still get nipped by this possible scam. Even a person with a briefcase walking down the street and past you could be housing a RFID reader collecting all your information.

Now you can fight back.

Both my passport and credit cards are now housed in RFID-blocking passport holders and wallets which means I physically have to take my passport of credit card out of the pouch in order for it to be scanned – making me invisible to that person with a briefcase!

These leather, military-grade RFID-blocking passport holders and wallets are available here and for just $6USD (~$9NZD) you can protect your identity! Can you afford not to? If you really need convincing I highly suggest taking the time to view Jessie Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory episode, Big Brother.
